    Improvements and acceleration in software development have contributed towards high-quality services in all domains and all fields of industry, causing increasing demands for high-quality software developments. The industry is adopting human resources with high skills, advanced methodologies, and technologies to match the high-quality software development demands to accelerate the development life cycle. In the software development life cycle, one of the biggest challenges is the change management between the version of the source codes. Various reasons, such as changing the requirements or adapting available updates or technological upgrades, can cause the source code's version. The change management affects the correctness of the software service's release and the number of test cases. It is often observed that the development life cycle is delayed due to a lack of proper version control and due to repetitive testing iterations. Hence the demand for better version control-driven test case reduction methods cannot be ignored. The parallel research attempts propose several version control mechanisms. Nevertheless, most version controls are criticized for not contributing toward the test case generation of reduction. Henceforth, this work proposes a novel probabilistic rule-based test case reduction method to simplify the software development's testing and version control mechanism. Software developers highly adopt the refactoring process for making efficient changes such as code structure and functionality or applying changes in the requirements. This work demonstrates very high accuracy for change detection and management. This results in higher accuracy for test case reductions. The outcome of this work is to reduce the development time for the software to make the software development industry a better and more efficient world

Why? in order to meet the challenges of installing and maintaining services based on multi-vendor software and hardware components in an IP-based network environment. The converged services environment is likely to be ‘smart’ and support flexible and dynamic interoperability between appliances and computing devices. These radical changes in the working environment will inevitably force managers to rethink the role of Service Engineers in relation to customer relationship management. This paper aims to identify requirements for an information system to support converged communications service engineers with regard to customer-engineer relationship management. Furthermore, an architecture for such a system is proposed and how it meets these requirements is discussed

    Hunig's base catalyzed synthesis of new 1-(2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-yl)-3-aryl urea/ thiourea derivatives as potent antioxidants and 2HCK enzyme growth inhibitors

    A series of 1-(2,3-dihydro-1H-indan-1-yl)-3-aryl urea/thiourea derivatives (4a-j) have been synthesized from the reaction of 2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amine (2) with various aryl isocyanates/isothiocyanates (3a-j) by using N,N-DIPEA base (Hunig's base) catalyst in THF at reflux conditions. All of them are structurally confirmed by spectral (IR, 1H & 13C NMR and MASS) and elemental analysis and screened for their in-vitro antioxidant activity against DPPH and NO free radicals and found that compounds 4b, 4i, 4h & 4g are potential antioxidants. The obtained in vitro results were compared with the molecular docking, ADMET, QSAR and bioactivity study results performed for them and identified that the recorded in silico binding affinities were observed in good correlation with the in vitro antioxidant results. The Molecular docking analysis had unveiled the strong hydrogen bonding interactions of synthesized ligands with ARG 160 residue of protein tyrosine kinase (2HCK) enzyme and plays an effective role in its inhibition. Toxicology studies have assessed the potential risks of 4a-j and inferred that all of them were in the limits of potential drugs. The conformational analysis of 4a-j inferred that the urea/thiourea spacer linking 2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-amino and substituted aryl units has facilitated all these molecules to effectively bind with ARG 160 amino acid residue present on the α-helix of the protein tyrosine kinase (2HCK) enzyme specifically on chain A of hemopoetic cell kinase. Collectively this study has established a relationship between the antioxidant potentiality and ligands binding with ARG 160 amino acid residue of chain A of 2HCK enzyme to inhibit its growth as well as proliferation of reactive oxygen species in vivo

    Bilateral Transplantation of Allogenic Adult Human Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells into the Subventricular Zone of Parkinson's Disease: A Pilot Clinical Study

    The progress of PD and its related disorders cannot be prevented with the medications available. In this study, we recruited 8 PD and 4 PD plus patients between 5 to 15 years after diagnosis. All patients received BM-MSCs bilaterally into the SVZ and were followed up for 12 months. PD patients after therapy reported a mean improvement of 17.92% during “on” and 31.21% during “off” period on the UPDRS scoring system. None of the patients increased their medication during the follow-up period. Subjectively, the patients reported clarity in speech, reduction in tremors, rigidity, and freezing attacks. The results correlated with the duration of the disease. Those patients transplanted in the early stages of the disease (less than 5 years) showed more improvement and no further disease progression than the later stages (11–15 years). However, the PD plus patients did not show any change in their clinical status after stem cell transplantation. This study demonstrates the safety of adult allogenic human BM-MSCs transplanted into the SVZ of the brain and its efficacy in early-stage PD patients

    The emergence of the circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 in multiple countries requires active surveillance : current scenario and counteracting strategies

    Dear Editor, On April 11, 2022, a child less than two years old living in the Tamanrasset province of South Algeria showed signs of acute flaccid paralysis (AFP). On July 8, 2022, this was notified by the WHO through the Global Polio Laboratory Network (GPLN) as a case of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 (cVDPV2) [1]. In the past few months, several genetically-linked Sabin-like type 2 (SL-2) poliovirus isolates have been detected numerous times in the US and the UK [2]. Since last February, the GPLN in London has been consistently detecting SL-2 isolates in sewage samples. The latter showed enough mutations to be classified as type 2 vaccine-derived poliovirus (VDPV2) and, due to the evidence of community transmission, were classified as circulating VDPV2 (cVDPV2) [2]. No human cases of VDPV2 have been documented in the UK as of September 5, 2022. Only one case of VDPV2 was reported in an unvaccinated paralytic individual. This was the first poliomyelitis case reported in that country since 2013 that was not linked to recent international travel. In the US, the virus isolates detected in environmental samples were found to be genetically-related to those reported in the sewage samples from London and those from Jerusalem, Israel [2]. In the case of the child who showed AFP in Algeria, the cVDPV2 isolates were detected in the stool samples. This was the first case of cVDPV2 in that country. Genome sequencing showed that the isolated virus was genetically-related to one strain previously isolated in Kano, Nigeria. The child had not received the polio vaccine and had never travelled outside the Tamanrasset province. Public health investigations are currently underway in that region to identify any more AFP cases [1]
